These terms set the ground rules for using this website. By visiting, searching, or browsing any page on this site, you agree to follow what's laid out here. If that doesn't work for you, please close the site and don't use it.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: This website is privately owned and operated. We have no ties to any local, state, or federal government body. Neither this site nor any of our advertising partners provide services for credit decisions, employment screening, insurance underwriting, tenant background checks, or anything else covered by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). We help people find public records resources in Minnesota. We are not a private investigation firm or a consumer reporting agency.

1. What This Site Is

This is a privately run reference site. We are completely separate from any government agency at every level. We don't store official records, and we can't file or pull documents for anyone.

Our job is to help you find public records resources in Minnesota and connect you with outside search tools that might help in your research.

2. How You Can Use This Site

You agree to use this site only for purposes that are legal. That means you will not:

  • Use anything from this site to stalk, threaten, or hurt someone
  • Base employment, housing, credit, or insurance choices on what you find here

3. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA. We don't offer background check services, credit reports, or any form of consumer report. Neither we nor our advertising partners provide services for evaluating job applicants, screening tenants, setting insurance rates, or checking creditworthiness. You must not use data from this site or any of our linked services to:

  • Decide whether to hire or fire someone
  • Screen rental applicants or make housing decisions
  • Judge someone's creditworthiness or set insurance premiums
  • Decide who gets a professional license or government benefit
  • Do anything else that would need FCRA compliance

Our site has links to other websites. Government sites, court portals, legal aid groups, search providers. When you click those links, you leave our site and enter theirs. We have no say over their content, their data practices, or their uptime. Read their terms before you use them.

12. If Part of This Doesn't Hold Up

If a court strikes down one section of these terms, the rest still stands. The bad part gets tweaked just enough to make it work, and everything else stays the same.
